The working principle of the differential gearbox

Differential devices, with their lightweight, compact size, and safe and reliable characteristics, have become ideal protective equipment for various high-altitude operations. So, how does it ensure the safety of workers?

In the preparation stage before the operation, the operator needs to firmly hang the tension hook of the differential at a high fixed point without sharp edges, and then accurately connect the safety hook to the safety belt on the body. After careful inspection to confirm that the connection is correct, the climbing operation can begin. During normal operation, as the operator slowly moves upwards, the safety rope remains in a semi tensioned state, which neither restricts the operation nor responds to action requirements at any time. When the operator twists or rotates, the safety rope can flexibly stretch and adjust its length according to human movements, and automatically retract into the differential after the operation is completed.

Once the operator accidentally falls at high altitude, the speed of pulling out the safety rope will instantly increase sharply. At this point, the precise locking system inside the differential will activate with a response speed of milliseconds, quickly locking the safety rope and blocking the tendency of the human body to continue falling in a timely manner, effectively avoiding safety accidents and building a solid safety line for high-altitude workers.
