General provisions on the use method of differential fall arrester

Differential fall arrester is a mutually complementary fall protection device for high-altitude operation, which is used together with safety belt and safety rope (except for special requirements), so as to enable high-altitude operation personnel to get full fall protection.

General provisions of the national standard for fall arresters on the use of speed differential fall arresters for high-altitude operations:

(1) The differential fall arrester must be hung high and used low. When in use, it should be hung on a solid, blunt edged structure above the user.

(2) It is strictly forbidden to kink the safety rope for use, dismantle and refit it, and put it in a dry place.

(3) In principle, the inclination shall not exceed 30 ° during tilting operation. If it exceeds 30 °, you must consider whether it will hit the surrounding objects.

(4) When the differential fall arrester is used, it does not need to add lubricant.

(5) One differential fall arrester can only be used by one person at a time. Each differential fall arrester should be equipped with a pull rope according to the effective length of its safety wire rope.

(6) For the transfer of high-altitude operation points, before the safety rope needs to be untied, the differential fall arrester must be fastened first, and the protection must not be lost at the same time.

(7) The construction workers shall select the differential fall arrester with appropriate length according to the scope of operation activities.
