Application of High altitude Differential in the Maintenance of Southern Sloping Roofs

The roofs of buildings in southern China are mostly sloping roofs, which can facilitate rainwater to fall to the ground in a timely manner without accumulating on the roof. However, the maintenance difficulty of this type of roof is relatively high, and people cannot stand on the roof smoothly to repair the missing roof. In addition, there is a risk of falling to the ground during the repair process. Therefore, high-altitude speed differentials have become an important protective tool in sloping roof maintenance work.

Roof repair work is a complex and tedious process that requires first identifying the location and cause of water leakage, and then carrying out regional repair work based on the size of the leakage point or the length of the crack. The repair material must be waterproof, and tools such as scrapers, brooms, utility knives, and dustpans should be used.

During the maintenance process, the upper hook of the high-altitude differential can be hung on the highest point of the roof, and the lower hook can be hung on the safety belt of the maintenance personnel. As the repair position changes, the maintenance personnel need to constantly move the suspension point of the hook on the differential. After use, they should slowly remove the safety hanging ring of the differential while ensuring their own life safety.
