Recently, in order to eliminate potential safety hazards in electricity consumption and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid, State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Company carried out autumn power maintenance work. It is reported that this year, State Grid Corporation of China faced unprecedented pressure to ensure power supply during the peak summer season. Sichuan, Jiangsu and other provinces have suffered from extreme high temperatures and severe weather, resulting in an increasing power load.

The huge amount of electricity also exacerbates the loss of power equipment, and maintenance work is imperative. At the work site, several power maintenance personnel climbed onto the power tower and stood on a 70 meter high ultra-high voltage transmission line. Not taking a single step made people feel uneasy, and I believe they felt the same way. Fortunately, with the protection of high-altitude fall arresters, everyone's hearts were much more at ease.

The main work of the power workers this time is to climb the tower and inspect the wiring, check the tightness of the wires, insulators, and foot nails, check whether the iron tower is tilted, and whether the iron tower foundation and fastening bolts are loose. If there are any abnormalities, they will be repaired and rectified as soon as possible without any safety hazards. It is precisely because of the silent release of these people that we have stable electricity consumption.
