The anti fall device undergoes strict testing before leaving the factory and is only put into use in the market after meeting safety standards. However, self inspection is still necessary before using the anti fall device. If the anti fall device encounters these situations during self inspection, it is not allowed to be used. Firstly, if the steel wire rope of the anti fall device cannot be pulled out of the shell normally or the pulling process is quite difficult, it indicates that there is a major problem with the internal transmission device, and continuing to use it poses a high risk factor.

Secondly, the steel wire rope pulled out by the anti fall device cannot be automatically retracted after the external force is released, indicating that the tower wheel of the anti fall device has malfunctioned, causing it to be unable to reset normally, and this situation cannot continue to be used.

Thirdly, the steel wire rope of the anti fall device cannot be self-locked instantly when pulled quickly, resulting in non self-locking or a long interval between pulling and self-locking. This situation indicates that there is a problem with the engagement of the ratchet and pawl of the anti fall device. An anti fall device that cannot self lock properly is useless.

If any of the above situations occur during the self inspection process of the anti fall device, do not continue to use it. When encountering such a situation, be sure to consult the manufacturer or testing agency as soon as possible to understand the cause and avoid accidents.
