Double protection of high-altitude construction anti fall device installed on the catwalk of Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge

As the world's largest under construction public rail dual-use suspension bridge, the Chongqing Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge is currently advancing the construction of catwalks in an orderly manner. At an altitude of one kilometer, the builders are fully committed to building a temporary aerial work platform for the suspension bridge, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent main cable construction.

Catwalk installation is a typical high-altitude operation, with a distance of 100 meters from the river surface. The wind on the river surface is strong, the working space is narrow, and the construction risk is high. Strictly implement the safety management requirements for high-altitude operations on the construction site, and all workers entering the site must complete safety technical briefings before taking up their posts. They must wear a full set of protective equipment such as safety helmets, safety belts, and fall arresters in a standardized manner when entering the work area.

During the homework process, the safety belt should be hung high and used low, and the anti fall device should be firmly attached to a stable load-bearing cable to achieve dual protection and prevent unprotected suspended work. Synchronize on-site inspections for the project, regularly check the condition of protective equipment, strengthen pre shift safety reminders, and eliminate potential risks at an early stage.
