During the reinforcement construction of high-altitude buildings, workers are exposed to high-risk areas such as edges and suspended structures for a long time, resulting in a prominent risk of falling. To ensure safety, the combination of fall arresters and seat belts has become a key measure to prevent high-altitude falling accidents.
A seat belt is a basic protective device that connects the human body to a fixed point by fully wearing it and securing the hanging point to a reliable structure. However, ordinary seat belts may still cause collision injuries if the hanging point is low or the buffering distance is insufficient when personnel fall. At this point, the function of the anti fall device becomes prominent.

The anti fall device adopts a ratchet, pawl and centrifugal braking structure, and is equipped with high elasticity springs and self-locking mechanisms inside. When moving during normal operations, the steel wire rope extends and contracts freely with low resistance, without affecting personnel movement. Once a fall occurs and the descent speed instantly exceeds the limit value, the centrifugal mechanism triggers the pawl locking ratchet to achieve reliable braking within a limited distance of several centimeters to tens of centimeters, gradually releasing the impact force of the fall through the buffer bag, effectively protecting the human body.
The feature of "free movement+instant locking" enables the anti fall device to meet the need for frequent position changes during construction, while also becoming a "life lock" in the event of danger. Combined with the redundant protection of the seat belt, a complete safety chain is formed from limiting displacement to absorbing impact.
In practical applications, construction personnel must strictly follow the principle of high hanging and low use, and regularly check the sensitivity of anti fall devices and the wear of safety belts. Only when the equipment is in good condition and used in a standardized manner can the safety defense line be truly built at high altitude.
