The fall arrester cannot be used horizontally

Fall arresters, buckles and wire ropes are standard components, which are relatively mature protective equipment for high-altitude operations. The three together constitute a horizontal fall protection system.

The fall arrester cannot be used horizontally. It must be hung high and used low. When it is used, it should be hung on a solid and blunt edge structure above the user. When using fall arrester for tilting operation, in principle, the inclination shall not exceed 30 degrees to avoid the risk of collision.
